Can I put a refrigerator and a deep freeze on one 20-amp circuit?

I have an extra refrigerator and a deep freeze in my garage. Currently both are plugged into drop-cords (on two different circuits) because the garage outlet is GFCI and when either one starts it trips. I have only one spot left on my panel. I am allowed to put a non-GFCI circuit in the garage for ‘permanent plugged in appliances’. Would a single 20-amp circuit be able to handle both of these appliances if both of their compressors started at the same time?

Drop cord are dangerous,especially ones w/small wire,you should call an ELECTRICIAN !
The advice that you have received here,most is wrong and very dangerous.
You can use a twin breaker for running 2 new circuits. Each circuit on the twin breaker must have it’s own neutral.use 12/2 w/g for each.If you swap a circuit from another phase,same amp rating,to one screw of the twin then a neutral can be shared as a 12/3 w/g wire may be run.
receptacles with-out GFCI protection in garages are required to be single plug-in,for appliances not fasten in place
